National Science Research Competition

Welcome to the Virtual Exhibition of National Science Research Competition.

To promote scientific research and learning at the school level, Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF) and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) established the annual National Scientific Research Competition (NSRC), a series of competitions for schools across Qatar, in 2015.

For NSRC 12th cycle, schools across Qatar submitted a total of 705 research projects. Out of these, 153 outstanding projects were shortlisted to participate in the competition. These projects were selected based on their originality and potential to propose ingenious solutions to solve the foremost challenges faced by Qatar, the region, and the world.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and ensuing measures to mitigate its impact, QNRF conducted a second independent evaluation of the shortlisted projects. We asked 91 judges to evaluate the shortlisted projects in a transparent manner under a four-tiered evaluation mechanism. After receiving the evaluation scores from the judges and calculating the median scores for each project, the top three projects in each category were selected to be nominated for the first, second, and third places.

Congratulations!
