Texas A&M at Qatar awarded 11 grants by QNRF that address Qatar’s needs

Texas A&M University at Qatar was awarded 11 projects from the Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF) in Cycle 11 of the National Priorities Research Program, and its research office was named the Best Research Office of the Year. This is the for the fourth year in a row the research office has been recognized by QNRF and the sixth time in the past seven years. The research office is responsible for vetting research proposals that are submitted to QNRF for funding and managing the awarded research projects.

Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF) National Priorities Research Programme (NPRP) has awarded Texas A&M University at Qatar (TAMUQ) Exceptional Proposal recognition at QNRF’s sixth annual Research Forum, Gulf Times has reported. The university received 38 awards out of 118 proposals submitted, a 32% success rate, totalling $31.7m in research funding. “This significant funding from the QNRF NPRP allows our faculty members and researchers to continue their relevant, real-world research for the benefit of Qatar.

Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF), a centre of Qatar Foundation Research and Development (QF R&D), has awarded research grants to 162 proposals across 22 institutions in Qatar during the seventh cycle of its flagship National Priorities Research Program (NPRP). The results were announced during the 6th QNRF Annual Forum held at the Qatar National Convention Centre.

Themed ‘Building on Success’, the Forum, held under the patronage of Mr. Faisal Alsuwaidi, President of QF R&D, was attended by more than 400 members of Qatar’s research community and streamed live on QNRF’s website.

Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF) has announced new research grants worth a total of $121 million today, under its flagship funding program, the National Priorities Research Program (NPRP).

The announcement came in the eagerly-anticipated finale of QNRF’s fifth Annual Forum, held this morning at Qatar National Convention Centre, where more than 350 members of Qatar's research community gathered to learn the results of proposals submitted for the sixth cycle of the NPRP. The fifth QNRF Annual Forum was held under the patronage of Mr Faisal Alsuwaidi, President of Research and Development at Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development.

Building on the success of a Program that grows bigger every year, Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF) announced today that all participants planning to participate in the 5th cycle of National Priorities Research Program (NPRP) should do so by submitting their research proposals to the registered Research Office (RO) of the submitting institution by 12 noon, today, Doha time.
