Projects developed by young scientific minds from schools across Qatar have been placed in the spotlight through a new national competition organised by the Qatar National Research Fund 

FameLab, one of the biggest science communication competitions in the world, has taken place in Qatar for the second consecutive year.
Initiated by Cheltenham Science Festivals in the UK, FameLab was brought to Qatar by the British Council in partnership with Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF) and supported by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Qatar University and Hamad Bin Khalifa University.

Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF) launched two revamped programs to help the country's new generation of scientists and researchers are being supported to embark on their careers and create an impact through two revamped programs launched by QNRF’s Graduate Sponsorship Research Award (GSRA) and Postdoctoral Research Award (PDRA) have been embedded into its unique Qatar Research Leadership Program (QRLP). QRLP aims to identify and nurture Qatar’s finest homegrown science and research talent by providing high-quality training, practical experience in collaboration with prestigious universities and research institutions around the world, financial support, and a gateway to opportunity.

A team from Qatar University (QU) has won first place in Qatar National Research Fund’s (QNRF) 9th Annual Undergraduate Research Experience Programme (UREP) competition.

AS part of the Education Conference 2017 and the National Scientific Research Week (NSRW) at Qatar National Convention Center, the British Council and Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF) held the FameLab Qatar finals on Wednesday.

 

A grant to research migrant workers’ health and sports activities has been awarded to Northwestern University in Qatar faculty and students.

Under the slogan 'Pioneering and Creativity', the Education Conference and National Scientific Research Week will take place from March 12 to March 16 at the Qatar National Convention Center (QNCC). The conference will discuss over 30 researches in 44 workshops.
