Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF), a member of Qatar Foundation, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE), is supporting the representation of five high school students from Qatar in the International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics (IOAA) 2019, currently being held in Hungary, Budapest.

Doha, Qatar, April 5, 2019: Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF), a member of Qatar Foundation (QF), has announced the launch of a new award – the Early Career Research Award (ECRA) , an intensive research and research leadership development award for faculty members and researchers at an early stage in their careers.
The aim of the award is to support eligible applicants in the development of their skills in order to conduct and lead research independently, with the ultimate aim of contributing to Qatar’s overarching research and development goals. The award will also help recently graduated PhD holders and medical doctors to establish their labs and develop their research.
 

Doha, Qatar, March 31, 2019: Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF) – a member of Qatar Foundation (QF) – and Qatar Shell Research and Technology Centre held today the 11^th Annual Undergraduate Research Experience Program (UREP) Competition at Qatar National Convention Centre. 

Minister of Education and Higher Education HE Dr Mohammed Abdul Wahed Ali al Hammadi officially launched the National Scientific Research Week (NSRW) at Qatar National Convention Centre on Tuesday. Ministry of Education and Higher Education and Qatar National Research Fund hosted the opening ceremony. Hammadi said the exhibition enables students to acquire scientific skills and ethics

Doha, Qatar, March 13, 2019: Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Affairs of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Ms. Fawzia Al-Khater, and Dr. Abdul Sattar Al Taie, Executive Chairman of the Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF), honored the winners during the closing ceremony of the 11^th edition of the National Scientific Research Week (NSRW), titled ‘Promising Researchers for Qatar.’

Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF) has teamed up with Qatar National Library (QNL) to bring the outcomes of QNRF-funded research more into the public domain.

This joint initiative takes the form of an advanced online, searchable database, that allows users to search for, or browse, any published outcome of QNRF-funded research projects.
