Call for Oral Presentation and Poster Abstracts - Qatar Foundation R&D Annual Research Conference (ARC’14)

Qatar Foundation Research & Development is happy to invite you to submit an abstract on original research to be considered for oral or poster presentation at the Annual Research Conference (ARC’14) on November 18-19, 2014.

Following on the success of last year’s Annual Research Conference that focused on Qatar’s Cross-cutting Research Grand Challenges, the theme of this year’s conference will be “Towards World-class Research and Innovation”. Your submissions can be on or related to one or more of Qatar’s Research Grand Challenges. These challenges are related to the following four thematic pillars defined in Qatar’s National Research Strategy:

  • Energy and Environment
  • Health and Biomedical
  • Computing and Information Technology
  • Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities 

All submissions can be made online through our abstract submission system http://www.editorialmanager.com/qf-arc. Abstracts can be submitted in either Arabic or English and are limited to a maximum of 500 words. Supporting figures and tables may be included. Each abstract should represent original work which has not been published or presented elsewhere. The deadline for abstract submission is Friday 15th August 2014 at 23:59 Doha time (AST) and the review outcome will be conveyed by mid-October 2014.
