Launch of the 5th Cycle of Path Towards Precision Medicine (PPM) Call

Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF), in collaboration with Qatar Genome Programme (QGP), is pleased to announce the launch of the fifth cycle of the Path towards Precision Medicine (PPM) call. The online submission channel, Q-Grants, will open for PPM5 on 15 March 2021.

The Research Priority Areas for PPM5 are as below:

  1. Clinical genomics of pediatric diseases
  2. Clinical implementation of pharmacogenomics
  3. Digital e-solutions and applications related to precision medicine
  4. Genomics/multi-omics characterization of immune responses

The PPM5 has been subjected to some major changes in comparison to the previous cycle in terms of priority themes, eligibility, budget, and other sections. PPM5 applicants may participate by submitting a proposal in accordance with the guidelines and timeline stated in the Call for Proposals (CFP) along with the updated research plan template and other related documents available online in the download center of PPM5 at Link.  

Important dates

15 March 2021           Opening of the online proposal submission

25 May 2021               Closing of the online proposal submission by LPI

1 June 2021               Closing of the online research office vetting

November 2021         Successful proposals notification
