Information Session about the Launch of the Second Cycle of the Rapid Response Call

Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF) is pleased to invite you to attend an information session about the launch of the second cycle of the Rapid Response Call, “Covid-19: Lessons Learned and Road to Recovery” on Thursday, 8 July 2021 at 1pm (Doha time).

Focused research areas for this call are:

  1. Economic Recovery Post-Pandemic
  2. Education in Times of Crises
  3. Epidemiology and Health-Related Issues
  4. Social Cohesion and Community Resilience

The size of the award in this call is up to US$ 50,000 for a total duration of up to six months. Proposals should be submitted through QNRF’s submission channel at https://oss.qgrants.org/. The online submission channel, Q-Grants, will open at 12pm (Doha time) on 01 July 2021.

Eligibility Requirements of the Lead Principal Investigator (LPI):

  1. The LPI must be affiliated with an approved submitting institution inside Qatar.
  2. The LPI must hold a research-oriented doctorate or any of the approved terminal degrees as defined under the approved list of terminal degrees at link.
  3. An LPI is eligible to apply for only one RRC proposal in this cycle.
  4. The LPI may collaborate with other researchers located inside Qatar.
